Current makeup favorites

1)      Tony Moly Blush in Milky Violet
This year I’ve been into light pastel colored blushes and even mixing them with my neon pink shade blushes to give it a glowy youthful look.  I’ve tried milky pink shades but so far the ones with a purple tone look really nice on my skin.

2)      E.L.F Finishing Powder in Corrective Yellow
This is a great power to set your overall makeup look and it makes my skin look much brighter and smoother.  The best part is it’s so much cheaper than other brands out there.  It originally comes in a black packaging but I transfer the powder to a clear jar for two reasons, one so it can fit in my drawer and second so I can see the product.

3)      Revlon Color Stay Whipped Creme Makeup
I’ve been obsessed with BB Cream that I completely ignored regular foundation and even sold a lot of them on my blog sale.  However to be honest BB Cream doesn’t give me enough coverage as a foundation would so I manage to go through my makeup stash and found my only foundation that I still kept and I’m glad I didn’t sold it!  Just like their Colorstay liquid foundation that I use to love this one applies real nicely on my skin and lasted for an entire day.  Maybe one day I’ll pick up the liquid foundation and use it again.

4)      Sonia Kashuk Sheer Liquid Tint in Poppy
I manage to purchase this item on sale at target for around $2.00 since they’re discontinued.  I really like the nice coral color look on my cheeks especially during the summer and it never faded or melt off my skin on days that were humid and hot.  For this product I only need a tiny bit for both my cheeks!

5)      Mac So Sweet,  So Easy Cream Blush
Another of one of my obsession for milky pink blushes, I like to use this cream blush as my base before I apply powder blushes.

6)      Skinfood Salmon Concealer
I purchase this concealer on ebay for around $10.  It’s very creamy so a little goes a long way, it’s not heavy coverage but its buildable.

1)      Etude House Cherry Fresh Tint in “Peach”
I wanted to get the Benefit Cha Cha tint since I’ve already enjoyed their Posie Tint but I didn’t want to spend a hefty $30 for another tint so I decided to try the Etude House as it was so much cheaper.  So far I really like the coral shade on my lips compare to pink shades.

2)      The Body Shop Brow and Liner Kit in “Dark Brown/Black
I’m still a rookie when it comes to doing my eyebrows so I’m trying to find all the good brow products in the market.  So far this Body Shop brow duo is working well for me and matches my brow and hair color perfectly without looking too dark or light.

3)      Missha The Style Perfect Eyebrow Styler in “Gray Brown”
Another good brow product I like but in a pencil form, this one is so much more convenient to apply in the morning when I’m in a rush.  The only dislike I have on this product is the lead part keeps sliding off the tube!

Current Favorites

Missha Misa Golden Snowflake Eyecream
This eye cream is amazing, it's so emollient and moisturizing that I only need a little so it will last me for quite a while!  One thing I dislike is the pot packaging, if I have long nails it's hard to get the product out.  Although its summer now and my under eye is not as dry so this can get too heavy on me but I would like to try others.

Tony Moly Tomatox magic white massage pack and Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream
To be honest the main reasons why I purchase these were the packaging but of course I was also curious if they were as great as most people claimed.  So far I'm loving them!

The Tomatox really does brighten my skin after I apply it as a mask for 15-20 minutes.  As a spot acne scar treatment I don't see much of a difference but as an overall complexion I do see a brighter skin.

For the Appletox, I massage a quarter size amount all over my face and after a few minutes of massaging you would see peeling bits starts forming and after I rinse them off my skin feels very smooth.  I find the results very refreshing and nice.

Both creams smells amazing and I can see myself reusing the packaging after I finish them up!

Missha Vita Moisture BB Cream
This is one of the hidden BB Creams that not much people talk about or tried before.  I found myself using this mostly in the winter and spring seasons as my skin was dryer and it apply so smoothly on my skin while still provide moisture.  I received this as a free gift when I purchased from Missha a while ago but if it wasn't for the free gift I wouldn't have tried this either!

Maybelline Chai Latte Quad (Old Packaging)
One of the best natural drugstore eyeshadow quad out there.  I find myself using all four of the shades for my everyday look, the only shade that is a tad chalky is the shimmer nude one but I still make it work.

Attirer Puff Cotton Squares
I will never by western brand cotton rounds or squares ever again, after I discover this one.  The texture of this puff is very soft so it doesn't scratch my skin and it doesn't tear apart or break unlike most drugstore brands plus it doesn't eat up all your toner or makeup remover.  I purchase this from Sasa for $3.50

DISLIKES
Lumene Sensitive Touch Serum
This was on sale for $5 at sears so I wanted to give it a try but good thing I got it on sale.  First off I couldn't stand the smell, they claim it suppose to smell like linen and I usually enjoy the scent of linens but this one was just awful and made want to puke!  Second it did poorly on how it applies, the serum just sat on top of my skin and didn't really sink.  I gave this product a chance by trying it for a week but it was a no-no for me :[

Haul: Tony Moly

I purchase three items from Tony Moly that really intrigue me for quite awhile and I heard so many great reviews about them.

Online Description

Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream
A peeling mask formulated with active fruit acids extracted from papaya, green apple and other fresh vegetables. Green apple extract sloughs off dirt and debris inside pores, allowing skin to absorb the vitamins and nutrients from other skin treatments. Papaya enzymes keep skin smooth and transparent, giving skin a healthier and livelier appearance. Massage cream on cleansed face for 1-2 minutes; leave on for 1 minute and rinse off.

Tomatox Magic White Massage Pack

Contains fresh tomato and vegetable extracts. With the bright red granules of oxygen bubble, it purifies the skin and then provides a large amount of oxygen deep into the skin, instantly leaving the skin fair, smooth and delicate with an even tone.  After cleansing face, apply the mask to face. Avoid mouth and nose areas.
Wait for 2-5 minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Red Appletox Honey Cream
Contains natural honey extract from apples, an active blend of bee honey and soluble collagen. It enhances skin elasticity, obviously increases moisture level, soothes skin problems and boosts metabolism.  Suitable for all skin types, it is especially suitable for tired, dehydrated or sensitive skins.  Apply in the morning and evening after cleansing and toning. Dab a proper amount on the face gently until absorbed.

Initial Review
The only one I tried so far is the Red Appletox Honey Cream and I really love the texture and it does moisturize my dry winter skin pretty well.  I have no negative review at this moment as I need to play around with this product as well as the other two a little longer to give my full opinion.

Overall they smell fresh and pleasant and the packaging is cute!

Thank you for reading!
