As the cold seasons slowly creeping its way into the east coast, my skin will start to lose its moisture and produce less oil and that means dry skin. As of now I'm starting to use more hydrating skincare into my everyday routine to stay moisturized. I change my products around most of the time, I'm not the kind of person that stay loyal to one thing however if I do find something my skin really enjoy I will continue to repurchase until I find something else better.
So far these following items I feel does the job well on my skin. Please note that everyone's skin is different, what may work well for me doesn't mean it would work well for you, please do your research before trying out a new product.
Cleansers
It is very important to use a gentle non-drying cleansers for dry skin. Every morning and night I enjoy using the Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser and to remove my makeup I use the Kose Softymo Speedy Cleaning Oil at night.
Where to purchase: Kose Softymo Speedy Cleaning Oil can be purchased at Sasa.com
Toners
Most people skip toners in their skincare regime thinking it does nothing but if you use a hydrating toner, I think it makes a big difference for hydrating dry skin. I use the Haruhada Hyaluronic Acid Moisture Skin Lotion as a toner or sometimes I like to spray the Etude House Collagen Moistfull Essence In Primer all over the face.
Where to Purchase: Both at Sasa.com
Serums
Another important step in skincare that is usually ignored is a good hydrating serum. The two I enjoy using the most is De Herbs Hyaluronic Acid Serum and the 40 Carrots Carrot + C Vitamin Serum.
Where to Purchase: De Herbs at Sasa.com, 40 Carrots at any health food shops or online.
Moisturizers
As a day moisturizer I enjoy using the Josie Maran Argan Daily Moisturizer SPF 40, it is very important to use SPF all 4 seasons. For night time I use the Sibu Sea Buckthorn daytime facial cream or the Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion 10% Glycolic AHA.
Where to Purchase: Josie Maran at Sephora, Sibu at any health food shops or online and Alpha Hydrox at Ulta
Extra care and Mask
One or two times a week if my skin needs a extra boost of hydration I like to add a sleeping night cream or a sheet mask. I use all time favorite the Missha Misa Golden Snowflake Overnight Cream and the My Scheming Deep Ocean Water Mask.
Where to Purchase: Missha at Misshaus.com, My Scheming at Sasa.com
Eyecream
For eye cream I love using the Missha Misa Golden Snowflake eyecream, very emollient and moisturizing under my eye.
Where to Purchase: Misshaus.com

Haul: Korean Cosmetics and My Scheming Masks
My Scheming Masks
I took a trip to Chinatown New York and got 3 boxes of face mask since they were really cheap that I only paid 3 for $19.99. I was a little skeptical at first wondering if they're real or fake but after standing in the store and inspecting the box for a long time while the sales lady staring at me the whole time I can confirm that it's real lol. They also had a lot of My Beauty Diary and other brands but I decided to get them next time.
The Face Shop
While in Chinatown I stop by The Face Shop and got two sleeping masks pact to try. Last year I got their Aqua Drop Sleeping mask and I really enjoyed using it.
Missha
Last month Misshaus.com had a friends and family sale going on so I ordered almost their whole Super Aqua Snail line and received plenty face mask as a free gift. I read so many positive reviews on their Snail line so I wanted to give it a try. So far I tried their Cell Renew Snail Cream and I absolutely love it! If you're interested right now at Misshaus.com the snail line is on sale for 30% along with other products they offer, the sale ends 9/2
Super Aqua Snail Slime Set
Super Aqua Snail Slime BB Cream and Eyelash Curler
RoseRoseShop.com
I got MORE blushes added to my makeup collection as if I don't have enough! Seriously I can't help it I love blushes! 2 from Tony Moly, 3 The Face Shop and 1 Skinfood. I also got all 4 shades of the Etude House Kissful Tint Chou lip stain.
If you're interested in a review on any of these items or swatches let me know! Eventually I will review them once I get to play with them long enough.
Thank you for reading and sticking around, sorry for the lack of posts, I will try to make more blog post >.<

Collective Haul: Asian/Weatern brand skincare and Makup
Lots of items I purchase for the past 2 months
Sasa.com
I purchase 3 boxes of the FaceQ lifting line masks (Glacier Essence Moisturizing, Caviar x Hyaluronic Acid Firming and Ellagic Acid Brightening and Firming), these were on sale for 25% off and I also purchase the Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel which I'm really loving at the moment.
Another Sasa purchase where my all time favorite De Herbs Hyaluronic Acid serum, they were doing a Buy One Get One Free sale and I also purchase two boxes of Genie in a Bottle serums which I read good reviews on them.
Ebay
From Ebay I got a Skin Food Tea Tree emulsion, since I ran out of my Naruko Tea Tree Night Jelly and Serum and I wanted to try something new. Along with it I purchase the Etude House AC Clinic Daily Gel Lotion to combat my acne for the upcoming warm season. So far I tried the Skinfood Tea Tree Emulsion and it's doing well for me, except the glass packaging is making it really hard to get the product out.
Vitacost
I was running out of fish oil so I went to Vitacost to repurchase and I ended up buying more then I wanted xD
I got a huge size of the Dr. Bronners Rose Castile Soap, I absolutely love this liquid soap, I use it on everything from cleaning my makeup brushes to using it in the shower. Just so happen the site was running a sale on the Thayers Witch Hazel toners so I purchase 3 different scents (Rose, peach and Aloe) and I also got pure Aloe Vera liquid and a Rosewater spray.
Sephora
I manage to snatch their Lash Stash which was on sale for $30, these are a great way to try department store brand mascaras without getting the full size.
Ulta
I got a good deal on these skincare items at Ulta by using manufacturer coupons along with their $3.50 off coupon. I had 2 Buy One Get One Free Simple and Biore coupon from the Sunday papers and 1 Ulta $3.50 off coupon and they happen to run a in-store Buy One Get One 50% off sale so my total for everything was less then $10!
CVS
I was hunting down these Wet n' Wild eyeshadow palettes everywhere and I was excited to finally find them at the CVS near my sister's house. I also purchase the new Maybelline concealer that I've been wanting to try.
That's all for my haul!

Summer Skincare Routine (2012)
NOTE: If you're reading this post through Trendymag.net please go to YunaFashion.Blogspot.com
to read the original post, I do not own, sponsor or affiliate with
Trendymag.net, they took my content without my permission. I don't know
who are they but a lot of my readers are getting confuse with them and
my blog :[
Sorry for the lack of post this summer, I started a new job and I'm been busier then ever but I will try my best to post as much as I can.
Summer is nearly ending here, finally! Fall/Winter is my favorite seasons if you don't know me by now :D I want to share some of my frequently use skincare items I use mostly through summer.
For reference I have oily/combination skin in the summer and occasional breakouts.
Cleanser
Every night I use the Desert Essence Tea Tree face wash (Purchased at Whole Foods). This stuff cleans out everything, if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend using this because it will strip your face dry. I have oily skin in the summer so this keep my face squeaky clean.
In the morning I rotate between Biore foaming cleanser and the St. Ives Green tea. Both is okay but I'm just trying to use them up since Cetaphil is still my favorite morning cleanser.
Night Moisturizers
At night I use the Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Treament with 10% Glycolic AHA, this is more of a chemical exfoliate so I only use this before bed time and a little goes a long way. I love this stuff it makes my skin really smooth in the morning, will definitely continue to use this in the furture.
After applying the AHA I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for extra moisture.
For my night eye cream I use Physcians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream.
Depending on my mood, some nights I use the Naruko Tea Tree serum and Tea Tree Gelly before bed.
Morning Moisturizers
I use the Missha's Time Revolution Immortal Youth Serum, this serum is pretty good and does moisturize pretty well.
For my lotion I use the Merlot Natural Grape Seed moisturizer with SPF 15. If I wear BB Cream which usually have high sun protection I would use this moisturizer since now I am more careful with protecting my skin from the sun.
On days when I don't wear makeup I use Shiseido Senka Mineral Sunscreen UV Gel SPF 50 for a little more protection. I am very picky with face sunscreen especially ones with high SPF because I hate the greasy feeling and strong scent they have but this sunscreen is an exception and I will continue to use this.
For my day eye cream I use the Lancome Multi-Vital eye with SPF 28. This was a free sample, the eye cream is okay not moisturizing enough in my opinion.
Extras
For a once a week treat, I like to use my Clarisonic Mia to exfoliate my skin.
After exfoliating I would use a sheet mask and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, it really does feels nice on the skin :]
That is all, thank you for reading!

Review: My Beauty Diary Aloe Mask
Where to buy: if don't live anywhere near a Asian beauty store you can get them online at imomoko.com or sasa.com
Price: online is about $12-$14 for a box of 10 sheets, its obviously cheaper in Asia

What My Beauty Diary says:
Likes:
- This mask is very hydrating as it claims and does smooth out my skin
- Theirs a lot of essence pack in this mask so you get plenty of leftovers which I like to use them on my neck, arms and legs
- The scent is very nice and fresh
- Affordable pricing compare to other sheet masks in the market
Dislikes:
- The shape of the mask is too wide but a little shaping of the mask will fix it
Overall:
This is my first My Beauty Mask when I purchase it during my trip to China and instantly fell in love with it. Although all it does is moisturizing so don't expect other great factors in this mask. I usually have this mask on for 20 minutes then I take them off and wait another 20 minutes to let the serum sink in my skin. After it's dry I rinse my face (because I don't like the sticky feeling) and apply a light moisturizer and no kidding my face feel really smooth and soft!
If you never try My Beauty Diary masks or any sheet mask definitely do give these a try.
Rating: 4.5/5
Would I repurchase?: yes
