What Naruko Says:
NARUKO Rose & Snow Fungus Aqua Cubic Complex is a serum that is
formulated with highly moisturizing, firming, and anti-aging
ingredients. Snow Fungus Extract and CE booster penetrate deeply into
the skin and effectively deliver moisture. These ingredients also repair
the skin while locking in moisture and maintaining healthy skin. The
serum restores the skin's elasticity and smoothens the skin. The serum
also uses the most advanced microcapsule technology for Vitamin A and E
to form a highly effective moisturizing and firming formula. The serum
creates an invisible, moisturizing barrier on top of the skin to prevent
dryness, dullness, aging, and large, rough pores. Skin feels hydrated,
smooth and nourished all day long.
My Reveiw:
Like most of Naruko products I reviewed this is another positive one! I've been using this serum for a good month and I can say I really do enjoy this serum very much. It leaves my skin pretty hydrated, smooth and its great for the colder seasons but if you have dry skin you can't wear this serum alone without a moisturizer. Like most Naruko serums the texture is a runny gel-like consistency which I prefer in serums rather then the oily ones. This also have a pretty strong rose scent which doesn't bother me at all but it might be for some who are sensitive.
My only negative is I wish Naruko makes the size of their serums bigger, I find myself using up their products quite fast!
Overall this is a must try!
Rating: 5/5
Would I repurchase: yes! In fact I need to restock some more of my Naruko favorites, I'm running out of them!

Products I Finished
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser
One of my staple every morning skin cleanser, it's very gentle and it does not dry out my skin.
Merlot Grape Seed Eye Cream
This is a standard eye cream, it hydrates my under eyes well but does not do any dramatic changes. It's a lot of product inside and it took me quite a while to finish, I would repurchase if it came in a pump dispenser.
Naruko Job's Tears Night Jelly
This was a sample product from purchasing a lot of stuff from Naruko last year. I do enjoy this product and it feels very nice when applying during Summer. However this is not something I would repurchase as I find other Naruko products I enjoy more.
Missha The Style Makeup Remover
Very good makeup remover, removes everything including waterproof mascara and eyeliner, this reminds me a lot like the Neutrogena makeup remover (in a purple bottle). I already have many backup of this product since I purchase a lot during Missha online sale.
Lancome Renergie Lift Volumetry Eye
My mom gave me this with a gift with purchase from Lancome, this is a okay standard eye cream, nothing special.
The Body Shop Carrot Moisturizer
A good winter time moisturizer, it does hydrate my skin well, highly recommend.
Bliss Daily Moisturizer SPF 15
This was a sample from Sephora and it's my first time trying Bliss product. The moisturizer is actually not bad, its not greasy or heavy feeling and it does moisturize well.
Naruko Marjoram and Lavender Serum
Very good serum, its very hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft, I will definitely repurchase this.
Sewame PXE Cream
I purchase this few years ago during my trip in China from their Walmart in Fuzhou. The cream is ok for the summer but for winter I feel it wasn't hydrating enough.
Missha Super Aqua Toner and Time Revolution Serum
Both products is ok, its good for summer but not so great during winter.
Disclaimer: Please note that some products that may or may not work for me doesn't mean it would do the same for you, everyone skin reacts differently.

Fall Skincare Routine (2012)
It is pretty much the same as my last Summer skincare routine but a few slight changes here and there. Usually in the fall my skin gets a bit dryer but still oily in the t-zone and occasional breakouts on the chin.
Morning
1) Target Brand Acne Cream: After I cleanse my face I found
the most effective way to prevent future acne breakouts is putting on a
thin layer of acne cream on area where I breakout the most which is on
my chin. Now keep in mind that they can dry out the skin so I make sure
I moisturized my skin well.
2) Shiseido White Lucent Toner: Before applying acne cream I apply toner, honestly this toner doesn't do much to my skin, I found other brands that does a much better job. At the moment I try to use this up before I can more on to my favorite ones.
3) Naruko Rose and Snow Fungus Serum: Love this serum, perfect for Spring and Fall when I have slightly dry skin, it really does help moisturized my face. It's not a heavy as some serum and it feels really nice on the skin. Highly recommend, then again I recommend a lot of Naruko products in general!
4) Lancome Bienfait Multivital eye cream with SPF 28: This is not the best eye cream but eye cream with SPF should be a daily essential if you go out. Once I'm done with this product I would like to try out other brands in the market.
5) Merlot Grapeseed Moisturizer with SPF 15: Great day moisturizer, I use this all throughout summer and will continue to use it in fall but as the temperature drops into winter I will need a heavier cream as the formula in this product is very light.
Night
1) & 2): Same as my morning routine.
3)Physician's Formula Hydrating Eye Cream: This is a good basic eye cream, it's in a thin gel like consistency so it feels very nice on the lower eye lids, great for warmer weather and maybe fall if you under eyes aren't dry.
4) Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Treament with 10% Glycolic AHA: this is more of a chemical exfoliate so I only use this before bed time and a little goes a long way. I love this stuff it makes my skin really smooth in the morning, will definitely continue to use this in the furture.
5) Neutrogena Fresh Moisture: Unfortunately this product is discontinued but it does feels a lot like the "Garnier Nutritioniste Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream" (Review Here). I love the feel of this product on the skin at night, it feels very light and refreshing.
Disclaimer: I purchase everything and keep in mind that products that work for me doesn't always work for everyone, please do some research before you try out a new product.

Summer Skincare Routine (2012)
NOTE: If you're reading this post through Trendymag.net please go to YunaFashion.Blogspot.com
to read the original post, I do not own, sponsor or affiliate with
Trendymag.net, they took my content without my permission. I don't know
who are they but a lot of my readers are getting confuse with them and
my blog :[
Sorry for the lack of post this summer, I started a new job and I'm been busier then ever but I will try my best to post as much as I can.
Summer is nearly ending here, finally! Fall/Winter is my favorite seasons if you don't know me by now :D I want to share some of my frequently use skincare items I use mostly through summer.
For reference I have oily/combination skin in the summer and occasional breakouts.
Cleanser
Every night I use the Desert Essence Tea Tree face wash (Purchased at Whole Foods). This stuff cleans out everything, if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend using this because it will strip your face dry. I have oily skin in the summer so this keep my face squeaky clean.
In the morning I rotate between Biore foaming cleanser and the St. Ives Green tea. Both is okay but I'm just trying to use them up since Cetaphil is still my favorite morning cleanser.
Night Moisturizers
At night I use the Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Treament with 10% Glycolic AHA, this is more of a chemical exfoliate so I only use this before bed time and a little goes a long way. I love this stuff it makes my skin really smooth in the morning, will definitely continue to use this in the furture.
After applying the AHA I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for extra moisture.
For my night eye cream I use Physcians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream.
Depending on my mood, some nights I use the Naruko Tea Tree serum and Tea Tree Gelly before bed.
Morning Moisturizers
I use the Missha's Time Revolution Immortal Youth Serum, this serum is pretty good and does moisturize pretty well.
For my lotion I use the Merlot Natural Grape Seed moisturizer with SPF 15. If I wear BB Cream which usually have high sun protection I would use this moisturizer since now I am more careful with protecting my skin from the sun.
On days when I don't wear makeup I use Shiseido Senka Mineral Sunscreen UV Gel SPF 50 for a little more protection. I am very picky with face sunscreen especially ones with high SPF because I hate the greasy feeling and strong scent they have but this sunscreen is an exception and I will continue to use this.
For my day eye cream I use the Lancome Multi-Vital eye with SPF 28. This was a free sample, the eye cream is okay not moisturizing enough in my opinion.
Extras
For a once a week treat, I like to use my Clarisonic Mia to exfoliate my skin.
After exfoliating I would use a sheet mask and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, it really does feels nice on the skin :]
That is all, thank you for reading!

Review: Naruko Rose & Snow Fungus Serum/Night Gelly
Price: Serum $23.50, Night Gelly $20.00
Where to Buy?: Naruko Website or Imomoko.com
I receive the Night Gelly as a sample when I order from Naruko website last month.
My Skin Type: Combo/dry, oily T-Zone, dry spots usually on my chin and occasional breakouts around the chin area as well.
What Naruko Says:
This collection is recommended for dry, dull, or sagging skin.
It contains a special formula which employs multiple ingredients that give skin a deep and efficient boost of moisture.
After daily use, your skin will feel refreshed and smooth all day long.
Pros:
- Both are non-greasy and feels very refreshing on the skin
- The texture of both products feel very smooth and gel like
- Doesn't leave your skin sticky or greasy
Cons:
- If you have very dry skin especially during winter these two products won't leave enough hydration on your skin you will still need a cream afterwards
- I don't mind products with the dropper packaging on serums but this one the dropper don't pick up enough of the serum
- I feel like the Night Gelly doesn't do much so if you just get the serum then it should be fine, you don't have to get both
Overall:
If you have combination skin with some dryness then these will be an ideal line for you but this won't work if you have very dry skin. Like I mention in the cons you can opt-out the Night Gelly because its close to the same texture as the serum. Overall I do enjoy the two products, I like how it glides on my skin since its a gel-like consistency and it has a nice rose scent that's not too heavy.
rating: 4/5
Would I repurchase?: Yes, only the serum
Thank You for reading!
Disclaimer: I purchase the serum and the Night Gelly were a free sample when you order from Naruko's Website.

September/October Favorites
1) Revlon Diamond Lust Eyeshadow in "Celestial Silver" This is one of the newer items from Revlon that was released this fall. They have a total of 4 shades I believe and they're super sparkly. Theirs not much pigmentation in these shadows so it's mostly shimmers and I enjoy applying this over my eyeshadow to give it a sparkly look.
2) NYX Eyeshadow in "Sahara" I use this as a inner corner highlight since this eyeshadow is very frosty and it really help brighten my eyes. NYX single shadows are absolutely amazing, its pigmented and soft.
3) Jessie's Girl Shadow in "Penny Pink" Its a very nice copper pink color eyeshadow with a golden sheen, I've been wearing this as a all over the lid. A very nice color for the fall.
4) Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush shadow in "Espresso Lane" I use this as my outer corner shadow pairing it with Jessie's Girl "Espresso Lane" and they look really nice together.
5) L'oreal Double Extend Mascara I think I found my favorite mascara, because this mascara does not clump or smudge throughout the day and it gives a lot of volume and length on my lashes. I will make a extended review on this mascara soon.
6 & 7) Naruko Naouli Tea Tree Serum and Night Gelly Although I've been using these for only a month I'm already loving this line from Naruko. These really help prevent me from getting new breakouts especially on my chin area. Since this line is recommended for those with oily skin, I have dry skin so after applying the serum and the night gelly I follow up with my favorite Missha Super Aqua Emulsion face lotion to keep my skin moisturized.
Thank you for reading!
Disclaimer: I purchase everything :]

Birthday Haul Part 1, Naruko Goodies
Its that time of the year, another huge Birthday Haul like I do every year :D This year the most I spent my money on is Naruko skincare which is totally worth it. The first Naruko product I tried was their Narcissus Total Defense Fundamental Serum which I purchase during my trip to New York and instantly I fell in love with it and wanted to try out more from this brand.

Magnolia Brightening and Firming Serum $23.50
Rose & Snow Fungus Auqa Cubic Complex $23.50
Magnolia Brightening and Firming Night Gelly $21.00
Job's Tears Whitening and Cooling Healthy Lotion (Free full size gift)
Tea Tree Oil Out Night Gelly $20.00
Niaouli & Tea Tree Balancing Serum $21.00
You can purchase it from their website www.naruko.us and if you spend over $100 they always give you a free full size gift and not to mention LOTS of samples to try!

I have already try the Tea Tree Oil Out Night Gelly and the Niaouli & Tea Tree Balancing Serum I haven't see any results since I just started using it 2 days ago but so far I love how it feels on my skin.
Naruko is also very Eco Friendly with their packaging! You can reuse the box and make pencil holders, card holders etc. and the instructions on how to fold them is very easy to follow. Such a creative idea and I like how it doesn't effect the ingredient list when you cut the pieces.

Once I get use to all the products I will make a full review on them but so far I can see myself using Naruko skincare for the rest of my life :D Now I wish they make SPF products!
Disclaimer: I purchase everything so don't worry everything is honest here! :3
