Summer Skincare Routine (2012)
NOTE: If you're reading this post through Trendymag.net please go to YunaFashion.Blogspot.com
to read the original post, I do not own, sponsor or affiliate with
Trendymag.net, they took my content without my permission. I don't know
who are they but a lot of my readers are getting confuse with them and
my blog :[
Sorry for the lack of post this summer, I started a new job and I'm been busier then ever but I will try my best to post as much as I can.
Summer is nearly ending here, finally! Fall/Winter is my favorite seasons if you don't know me by now :D I want to share some of my frequently use skincare items I use mostly through summer.
For reference I have oily/combination skin in the summer and occasional breakouts.
Cleanser
Every night I use the Desert Essence Tea Tree face wash (Purchased at Whole Foods). This stuff cleans out everything, if you have dry skin I wouldn't recommend using this because it will strip your face dry. I have oily skin in the summer so this keep my face squeaky clean.
In the morning I rotate between Biore foaming cleanser and the St. Ives Green tea. Both is okay but I'm just trying to use them up since Cetaphil is still my favorite morning cleanser.
Night Moisturizers
At night I use the Alpha Hydrox Oil-Free Treament with 10% Glycolic AHA, this is more of a chemical exfoliate so I only use this before bed time and a little goes a long way. I love this stuff it makes my skin really smooth in the morning, will definitely continue to use this in the furture.
After applying the AHA I use the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel for extra moisture.
For my night eye cream I use Physcians Formula Hydrating Eye Cream.
Depending on my mood, some nights I use the Naruko Tea Tree serum and Tea Tree Gelly before bed.
Morning Moisturizers
I use the Missha's Time Revolution Immortal Youth Serum, this serum is pretty good and does moisturize pretty well.
For my lotion I use the Merlot Natural Grape Seed moisturizer with SPF 15. If I wear BB Cream which usually have high sun protection I would use this moisturizer since now I am more careful with protecting my skin from the sun.
On days when I don't wear makeup I use Shiseido Senka Mineral Sunscreen UV Gel SPF 50 for a little more protection. I am very picky with face sunscreen especially ones with high SPF because I hate the greasy feeling and strong scent they have but this sunscreen is an exception and I will continue to use this.
For my day eye cream I use the Lancome Multi-Vital eye with SPF 28. This was a free sample, the eye cream is okay not moisturizing enough in my opinion.
Extras
For a once a week treat, I like to use my Clarisonic Mia to exfoliate my skin.
After exfoliating I would use a sheet mask and leave it on for 15-20 minutes, it really does feels nice on the skin :]
That is all, thank you for reading!

Stuff I purchase: Rite Aid
This week Rite Aid is having a Buy One Get One Free on all Physician's Formula bronzers so its a good time to buy them if you want to try it out and if you spend over $20 PF products you get $5 Up Rewards.
Up Rewards is like Rite Aid money, you will get a receipt print out of the reward and you can use it on your next purchase.
I've seen a lot of those sticker coupons attach to some of the PF products so do watch out for that for extra savings.
In total I only spend $5 all together because I had a lot of Up Rewards from my last week purchases and I also use the coupon attach to the bronzers, awesome deal :D
Thank you for reading!

May Favroties 2011
1) Milani Powder Mosaics in "Sunset Spice" I use this as a bronzer, I love how its matte, its not very pigmented which is fine with me since I like light bronzers.
2) NARS Orgasm Illuminator I like using this over my cheeks for a extra glow, this is a sample size which will last me for a quite a while since I only use a little.
3) L'oreal Wear Infinite Quad in "Golden Khaki Seduction" Unfortunately this product is discontinue I purchase it a long time ago and its been in my drawer for years and I decided to use it this month. This is a very summery palette it has gold and deep olive/khaki shades its a change from my usual brown palettes.
4) L'oreal Eye Highlighter in "Peach Chrome" This was actually purchase at Dollar Tree three weeks ago so do check to see if yours still have this. I love using this on my waterline to brighten my eyes.
5) Physicians Formula Shimmer Strips Custom Eye Enhancing Gel CreamLiner, Glam Collection in "Hazel Eyes": I love the black liner in this trio because contains gold shimmers in it which is really pretty for the summer and the texture in this cream liner is very creamy!
Thank you for reading!

Review: Physician's Formula Mineral Glow Pearls
Price: around $13.95 depending on where you purchase
Where to Buy?: Any Drugstores
Shade: Translucent Pearl

What PF says:
* Unique palette of multi-colored pearls blends together to create an instantly glowing complexion and a perfectly even skin tone.
* Real Mineral Pearl Extract delivers a luxurious skin-perfecting effect.
My Review:
This is one of my favorite highligther to use during fall/winter because of its multicolor shimmers as for the summer I enjoy the E.L.F bronzing powder in Luminance Review.
I love how the shimmers aren't too chunky, they're very fine and the powder is not too chalky. On some days when I'm not wearing any makeup I just like to apply a little of this powder to give it a nice glow and awake skin, I only apply this on the highest point of my cheekbones. Another thing why I love this product is because its not frosty when blended, majority of the shimmer highlighters I own they're too frosty and on my skin it makes me look ashy.

The swatches are not blended, I apply very thickly on my hand so you can see the shade clearly.
The price is pricey for a drugstore brand so I high suggest purchasing when they're on sale, I purchase this powder from Ulta when they had a BOGOF. As for the packaging its a little too bulky since it has a extra layer for the brush, it would be perfect if it was just the pan itself so I can have a extra space in my storage.
Would I buy this again?: Yes
Rating: 5/5

Review: Physicians Formula Baked Bronzer in Baked Tan
Price: $11.95
Where to buy?: at drugstores

I bought this bronzer at Ulta when they had a promotion on Buy One Get One Free on all Physician formula a long time ago when BOGOF existed in CVS and Rite Aid as well. If you haven't know me from my MSF old post I'm a huge fan of Mac's Mineralize Skinfinishes and I'm always on a look out for drugstore lookalikes and this bronzer was the only reason why I purchase it.
The shade I got is in "Baked Tan" I think theirs 2 shades available, this ones gives a nice warm color to my skin with gold shimmers. The texture is very smooth and blendable and the pigmentation is perfect not too heavy or too light and its buildable.
The only downside for me is the shimmers can be too much so whenever I use this bronzer I make sure to avoid other face makeup products that contain shimmers like blush, powders and highligther.
This is not a bad bronzer and worth trying out, just be careful with the packaging because mines it looks like the hinge is about to crack.
