Review: EOS Lip Balm

Price: $3.29
Where to Buy?: EOS Website, Walgreens or Rite Aid

Summer Fruit Flavor

This lip balm is really popular all over the beauty community now, I remember in a random forum last year I saw a picture of Ed Westwick applying it and was wondering what kind of lip balm is that?!

That time I couldn't find it in stores in my area and I can only purchase the product through their website, now its available in Rite Aid and Walgreens. What really made me buy the product was the packaging, aren't we all like that? Purchasing something because of the packaging? lol

Left to right: Summer Fruit, Honeysuckle Honeydew & Lemon Drop

I purchase the 3 pack for around $10 at Walgreens that I had my sister buy for me since there's no Walgreens in my area, pretty much CVS took over my area there's 5 of them lol. The 3 pack is only available in Walgreens whereas Rite Aid sells only singles.

After a month of using this I think is a okay standard lip balm it doesn't give a extreme moisture on my lips compare to my other favorites. They're great for the summer to give some moisture as its not so drying on the lips but don't count on this lip balm during the winter if you have super chapped lips. It will only do good if you have semi dry lips but for very dried lips you're better off with Aquaphor. Another downside is only one flavor has SPF of 15 which is the Lemon Drop it would be nice if the rest has SPF like Summer Fruit because I really love that scent compare to the rest.

Overall its a cute lip balm, kids will especially love to put it on as its very fun and different to apply.

Rating: 3/5
Would I buy this again?: no :[

Thanks for reading!

can you describe the scent for each and if it has a sensation and if all the balms apply and feel the same. i have the sweet mint and it does have a sensation for few minutes and a candy cane chocolate scent but fades to just mint scent then to no scent. can you describe the scents and sensations for the other lip balms? thanks!

@sweetTEA: I think all 3 of the balms feel the same it doesn't leave any tingle sensation or anything. The Summer Fruit smells like Lychee fruit if you ever had them before and I absolutely love the smell, Honey Dew and Lemondrop smells just like how it's named but very artificial scent.
