Current Favorites

If you haven't notice I stop doing monthly favorites because I realized I don't rotate my beauty products that much, once I like something I stick around to them for quite a while.  I will do current favorites if I find enough products I am currently using is different from the last time.

Wet n' Wild Mega Last Nail Polishes
This year I've been obsess with painting my nails ever since looking at all these nail tutorials from blogs.  I don't do much designs on my nails because I tend to mess up a lot and I don't have the patience for them.  My nail designs is mostly consist of a one color look, polka dots, glitter or a very simple design.

Last month Rite Aid had a awesome deal on all Wet n' Wild products where everything was 40% off plus you get a $3 store bucks if you spend over $10 so I went crazy on their nail polishes (if you miss out just wait, they always repeat this deal!).  At first I only bought 2 colors because I wasn't sure if it was good but after trying them out I was amazed by the quality so I went and bought more shades.

These polishes are very smooth upon application and just one coat is opaque enough, not to mention the flat brush applicator makes applying these polishes much easier and less messy compare to other drugstore polishes.  The staying power lasted on me for about a week before it started peeling and chipping (while using Seche Vite base and top coat), which is amazing because where I work most nail polishes never last for that long on my nails.

For the price and great quality, these polishes win me over and I highly recommend them to everyone who haven't tried them yet.

Taupe Color Eyeshadows
I never thought I would enjoy taupe eyeshadows until I started trying the famous Mac's Satin Taupe and that's when I was hooked to that color.  I was hopping to find a possible dupe for Mac's Satin Taupe so I went out to buy every drugstore taupe eyesahdows I can find and so far I'm loving these (no Mac dupe yet): Cover Girl Single Eyeshadow in "Tapestry Taupe", L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in "Bronzed Taupe" and Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eyeshadow in "Tough as Taupe".  Also not in the photo is Wet n' Wild's "Nutty" that I also enjoyed.

E.L.F Eyebrow Duo
For $3 this is not bad and it doesn't smudge or fade on me, I have the medium shade but I wish I got a darker one since this one is a little light on me.

Essence Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner
I am very impressed with this eyeliner, it really does last long on my lids without smudging or fading, for the price (under $3) it could possible replace my beloved L'oreal Lineur Intense!

Heroine Make Kiss Me Volume and Curl Mascara
I remember using this in the past but I forgot how much I like it, after repurchasing and trying it again this is now my favorite mascara.  It really does hold the curl and it rarely smudge.  My other favorite mascara is Cover Girl's Lash Blast but the wand is too big for my short lashes that it makes it hard to get them on my inner corner, the wand in this one is small and perfect size for my lashes.  This mascara is hard to find if you don't live near a Asian beauty shop since the mascara is from Japan, however you can find them on Ebay, Sasa, Imomoko or any online store that carries Japanese cosmetics.

Clarins Multi-Active Skin Renewal Serum
This is a sample size I received from Sephora but I'm really liking how smooth and soft it made my skin feel, not much on hydration but it's great for summer since it's not too heavy or greasy on.  The only thing that's stopping me from buying a full size is the price, $63 which is expensive for my wallet!  However it is on my wish list if I ever receive a gift card or a discount at Sephora or anywhere that carries Clarins products.

Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream
I purchase this BB Cream from Pretty and Cute during their holiday sale. After trying this BB Cream several times I have to say I like it better then my Skin79 Hot Pink and VIP Gold. It's very moisturizing and smooth on the skin and it's great if you have dry skin.

Hope you enjoyed today's post and thank you for reading! Disclaimer: I purchase everything.

I always want to pick up a couple bottles of the WnW nail polishes, and I always convince myself not to. Now I think I'll pick up a purple (maybe even a pink!) when I go to get new eyelash glue. >w<
