Tutorial: School Look 1 (2010)

Here's a school look using neutrals with purple shimmers. The purple glitter adds a little fun to the look rather then a typical all neutral looks and is only used on top of the liner so its not too much and can be worn during the day.

Most of the makeup used in this tutorial are all drugstores and very affordable because I know as a former student money is really tight and most of them go towards books, supplies and tuition.

Finish Look:
Excuse the red veins in my eye, I was a little tired x]

What I used:

1) Rimmel pencil liner
2) ELF Eyelid primer
3) Maybelline eyeshadow quad in "Chai Latte"
4) L'oreal HIP eyeshadow in "Charming"
5) L'oreal Telescopic mascara
6) Eyelash curler

Tutorial:

Apply a eyeshadow primer all over the lid to help the eye makeup last longer

with a big fluffy brush apply a light brown shadow all over the lid

with a small pencil brush apply a matte brown on the outer corner, making a side-way "V" shape

now with the same brush that you apply the light matte brown earlier, blend the dark brown so it gives a soft gradient from the two brown tones.

with a clean fluffy brush apply a nude color shadow on the brow-bone and blend any harsh lines

It should look close to this, very simple :]

Add a pencil liner, I choose a pencil liner because it provides a slight sticky base for the purple shadow.

with a thin eyeshadow brush apply a purple shimmer shadow on top of the black liner

apply a little bit of the shadow on the lower rim, try not to add too much or the look can be too harsh

curl and apply mascara

Finish!
