The Body Shop Originals Carrot Moisture Cream Review

I needed a good affordable moisturizer since my skin was getting dried due to this cold weather and all winter I kept going from product to product, I heard great things about this moisturizer so I decided to give it a try.

Sorry for the bad camera quality, my parents went on a vacation for a couple of months so my dad took my camera, at the moment I'm stuck using my phone camera.

What The Body Shop site claims:
Best if you want to: Hydrate and protect your skin with a rich, moisturizing, non-greasy daily moisture cream that leaves the skin feeling beautifully soft and supple.
Best for: all skin types

My Review:
When I test it out in the store I immediately like the texture and it didn't felt at all greasy so I went and bought two of them knowing I will need a backup and one cucumber cleanser they have. Right now they're having a sale buy 3 for $20. After a week in a half of using it every night so far I'm really loving this moisturizer. I have combination skin but with this cold weather the areas where my skin tends to get dry like around my chin and jaw area and my cheeks gets even drier. This moisturizer really help keeping them stay soft. Although it says for all skin types I wouldn't recommend it if you have oily skin because its a little heavy, this is good for dry or combination skin. I only use this at night since it doesn't have any SPF/UV protection if use during the day.

For the scent I'm not too big on it has a pretty strong floral scent I was expecting it to have a carrot kind of smell.

You should definitly give it a try if you do visit The Body Shop, they should be able to give you samples if your not sure. This is a limited edition item so be sure to go to your nearest The Body Shop soon.

Body shop ladies always give me such good samples, in the little jars and whatnot. I haven't been there in a really long time, I wasn't even aware they came out with a carrot scented (or according to you, not so much carrot scented) body butter, I'll have to give it a test. I hate misleading scents the most, if they call it carrot it shouldn't smell like damn flower wtf.
